We all know that sugar isn’t good for us, but based on what I see most people put in their grocery carts, they either don’t understand what sugar is, how much they consume or what the real side effects are. Sugar is in almost everything, in obvious and hidden ways. Things that people classify as ‘healthy’ food are huge culprits for unnecessary sugar spikes in our day. Yoghurt, smoothies, multi grain bread, dried fruit, Nutella all add large amounts of sugar into our day that can easily be avoided by making better choices.
